I’m used to seeing exacta, trifecta, and other similar bets when I look at racebooks, but at Bovada, I’m not seeing them. There are Win, Place, Show bets, which are essentially exacta, trifecta, etc., but you have to enter in which horses you think will place in which order to make those wagers. Overall, I found Bovada’s racebook to be a bit confusing, simply because I’m used to a more in-depth racebook layout.
Mobile Experience
At this time, Bovada does not have a dedicated mobile app. Their site, however, is available on both desktop and mobile. You can use the browser on your phone or tablet to access Bovada at Bovada.lv.
When I poked around their mobile site, everything loaded quickly and the menu was easy to use. Instead of the header menu I was familiar with on the desktop site, there was a bottom menu that lets you choose between game types and parts of the gambling site.
Plus, when you first open up Bovada on your phone, you’ll get a little pop up that lets you add Bovada to your home screen. It’s a very convenient feature that I’ve never seen at other mobile gambling sites before.

Deposits
Even though Bovada doesn’t have as many banking options as some of the other top casinos we recommend, there’s still a lot to go over.
Right out of the gate, a red flag for me is the 15.9% fee on credit cards. Bovada lets users deposit using an accepted card free the first time, but all other deposits will incur that steep fee. Compared to the 5-6% at MyBookie, Bovada’s is much higher, which only makes the case for using cryptocurrency for gambling online.
But, after digging around a while, I found another page in the help center that claims Visa and Mastercard deposits have 5.9% fees, while Amex cards have a 9.9% fee. I didn’t even know they had Amex card availability, because it doesn’t say anywhere else on the site.
One of the other things to discuss is MatchPay.
